Thank you for seeing this project through, Lydia – it has been a long time! I appreciate the needles you've threaded here and I especially appreciate the way you've told the story to make new room for future follow up rather than closing it down.

It's been utterly bizarre to live through! Definitely not what I expected when I signed up for a startup incubator program.

Thank you, James 🙏

I know this sounds strange, I’m not sure I fully understand it myself especially given how different the entities are, but somehow I see a degree of similarity between Leverage and the Neumann-era WeWork.

I heard a bunch of random stuff about the WeWork saga but can’t recall anything definite. Were there any good articles/ explainers?

I read this book a few years back and it was quite enlightening:

For a shorter read, this is a good article:

I'm part-way through reading "Tripping on Utopia: Margaret Mead, the Cold War, and the Troubled Birth of Psychedelic Science". Seems to me to echo with the Leverage stuff, and adjacent stuff. Book is good; would recommend to anyone interested in such dynamics I think.

Very interesting! That’s a subject I know a bit about, but less than I’d like to. Part of why I founded my own magazine was that I felt the existing media ecosystem was not going to do a good job making sense of psychedelics.
